Amanda + Jes
April weddings are so special - they’re a hint that warmer days and brighter blooms are here. Amanda + Jes’s wedding was full of that and more! Their smiles were contagious and pure joy was spread throughout their perfect day!
Their ceremony was held at West End United Methodist and then the celebrations continued at the Belle Meade Plantation for cocktail hour and reception. Rain showers were off and on all day, but that good luck made for some stunning photos.
The Belle Meade Plantation is a stunning venue with gorgeous historic buildings and gardens. The dinner space had pops of light blue and blush to compliment the guest invitations which stayed in theme of the colors used for florals. One of my favorite favors to date were the bottles of maple syrup courtesy of the Bride’s Grandfather.
Amanda was so thoughtful with her day of decisions - everything from the bow on her cake to the calligraphy place cards - she wanted to make sure details customized their day and that each guest felt welcomed. We even added lounge seating in the carriage house near the dance floor so all guests could enjoy the first dances and music all night long.
And last but not least, proof that rain is good luck on your wedding day -
